Mutah University participates in Teach Yourself initiative. About the initiative: The new challenge imposed on the world by the outbreak of the “Corona” epidemic requires Jordanians first to overcome the conditions of the crisis, secondly to find a way to manage it, and thirdly, to have patterns of thinking about topics that revolve around current and future questions about the role of digital technology in maintaining the level of education as a new dimension of learning and to remove the barriers and obstacles that are represented by the site Geographical location, distance and time, while also working on deepening and improving its concept, developing its principles, and diversifying its methods and tools. In response to the wish of His Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, President of the higher Council for Science and Technology, we seek to launch this initiative with the aim of providing assistance to students of Jordanian universities (public and private) in the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020 and increasing their academic achievement for this semester and in preparation for framing and institutionalizing the subject of e-learning to be an essential part of university education in all Jordanian universities, within a reference perspective and a strategic orientation, this encourage Jordan to implement the long-awaited "digital learning" project, making the challenge a chance for betterment. It should be pointed out that this initiative is the result of cooperation between the higher Council, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Higher Education Council, the accreditation and assurance commission for higher education institutions, in addition to Jordanian universities, the Royal Scientific Society and other relevant institutions, where the higher Council plays a major coordinating role. The idea of the initiative is to benefit from of the electronic platforms that already exist in some universities for e-university education and study courses that are ready to be upload or originally uploaded on university platforms to spread the benefit of all university students in the current semester due to the difficulty of predicting what will happen to the situation regarding freedom of movement for citizens Among them are university students during the remainder of the semester.
